Get you air con checked. Low air con gas can mean that your will not get the coolest aircon when the sun gets really warm. Well maintained AC will also de-mist the screen quicker in the colder months.
Check your tyres, to make sure they are not worn & under inflated. It goes without saying that you need to constantly check your tyre’s for tread wear and sidewall damage. These critical rubber rings keep you on the road and in control of your car.
Keep your oil, coolant & windscreen wash topped up. The fluids in your car are its life blood. If not checked and maintained the consequences could be quite severe. You could find yourself with no screenwash to wash the salt from the screen in winter or even worse no brakes!!
Get a regular maintenance check, a yearly service is very important. A full service gives us the chance to give the car a thorough looking over and to replace any dirty filters (spark plugs etc). Servicing a car regularly will mean it will run more efficiently, use less fuel and emit less emissions. Lastly, its much cheaper to service engines than it is to
replace them because they have not been maintained properly.
Get dashboard lights investigated as soon as possible. Any dash warning light on is your car crying out for help and that something is wrong. It could be something minor or it could be an early warning for something far more serious.
Replace worn wiper blades. It is always good thing to be able to see the road! Wiper blades clean your screen and ultimately, if well maintained will give you good vision of the road ahead.
Check your bulbs. Bulbs are one of the smallest but probably one of the most important things on your car. The most obvious benefit is being able to see the road in the dark but perhaps almost as important would be the brake lights and indicators, accidents can often come from either of these not working correctly.
